GET OUT Campaigns

youth led campaigns

GET OUT campaigns ensure that young people have a voice in environmental protection and enacting real change within their communities.

GET OUT campaigns on two levels:

1. We work with individual schools, mosques, community centres and churches to develop their own campaigns. Examples of these include plastic free schools or creating green spaces for biodiversity or food growing.

2. GET OUT also facilitates campaign clubs where young people will play a leading role within existing GET OUT campaigns. Participants will learn about campaigning for change and take part in ensuring Tower Hamlets is a greener and healthier place to live.

GET OUT is linking up with Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) to take on the Community Lead within Tower Hamlets for SAS in their Plastic Free Communities campaign. This means that we will use SAS methods in the places we work with the eventual goal of gaining SAS Plastic Free status in each.

Please get involved by volunteering your time, donating or simply signing up to our mailing list and becoming a digital activist. We would love to hear from you!
