food forest - flagship project

GET OUT has agreed with a school in the Tower Hamlets borough of London to take over a forested area within the school grounds. The plan is to convert the area into the GET OUT flagship project and a community hub.

We intend to:

- Build a geodome to act as an outdoor classroom for the school students and GET OUT work

- Grow vegetables for the school and community

- Create a refuge for wildlife including a pond which we can use to teach children and the local community about their local ecology

- Use the project to showcase the work of GET OUT and be able to teach children, young people and all members of the local community about growing vegetables and connecting with nature

More information coming soon.
